Managing Authors
Authors let you attribute each blog post to a real person, giving your content a credible voice and helping readers connect with your team. With author profiles, you can add multiple contributors, edit their details, and assign them to specific blogs across your site.
How It Works
•Create author profiles with names and supporting details so each post can be credited correctly.
•Assign an author to any blog post while editing it, so the byline appears on your published site.
•Edit existing author profiles at any time to keep names and information up to date.
•View all your authors in one place and reuse them across multiple posts.
•Filter your blog list by author to quickly find everything a contributor has written.
Steps
1.Open the authors area from your dashboard to see existing author profiles.
2.Select the option to add a new author and enter their name and details.
3.Save the profile so it becomes available for assignment.
4.Go to Blogs and open the post you want to credit in the editor.
5.Assign the author to the post alongside its categories and tags.
6.Publish or save the blog so the author byline appears on the live site.

Tips & Notes
•Create your authors before writing so you can assign them without interrupting your editing flow.
•Use the author filter on the Blogs page to review and manage everything a contributor has published.
•Keep author names consistent so bylines look uniform across your site.
You can reuse a single author across many posts, so there's no need to recreate a profile for each blog.
An author must be saved as a profile before it can be assigned to a blog post in the editor.
Troubleshooting
•Author not appearing for assignment: make sure you saved the profile before opening the blog editor.
•Byline missing on the live site: confirm an author is assigned to the post and that the blog has been published.
•Wrong author shown: reopen the post in the editor and reassign the correct author, then save.
•Filtering by author returns nothing: check that posts have been assigned to that author and that no other filters are also active.
